Our Preschool Program
Learning through Play, Faith, and Loving Guidance
We offer a half-day preschool program for 3 through 5-year-olds focused on:
- Kindergarten readiness – letters, numbers, fine motor skills, and more
- Faith-based learning – Bible stories, songs, and simple prayers
- Social development – sharing, cooperating, and caring for others
- Creative play – crafts, music, stories, and outdoor time
Our small class sizes and experienced, caring, teacher and aides provide the personal attention your child needs to grow in confidence and joy.

Our preschool is conveniently located in Gordon, NE, just minutes from Rushville and a short drive from Merriman. We are proud to serve families across Sheridan and Cherry Counties with affordable, faith-based early childhood education.
Enrollment Information
- Classes meet Monday–Thursday, 8:00–11:00 AM
- Accepting students ages 3-5 (must be potty-trained)
- Affordable tuition ($140/month)
- Enrollment opens each spring for the fall semester

Meet Miss Deb
Over 30 Years of Loving, Christ-Centered Teaching
Miss Deb (Deb Evans) has been the heart of Little Lambs Preschool for over 30 years. With a gift for nurturing young children and a deep love for Jesus, she has helped generations of families in Gordon, Rushville, Merriman, and the surrounding area begin their learning journey in a safe and joyful environment.
Her classroom is known for its warmth, gentle structure, and play-based learning, where children feel valued, encouraged, and loved. Whether she’s reading a Bible story, making Stone Soup, or helping a child learn to get up and try again, Miss Deb brings patience, creativity, and kindness to every day.
“I want every child to feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. Watching them grow in confidence and faith is the greatest joy of all.”
A member at Grace Lutheran, you and your child might catch Miss Deb at one of her other jobs serving our community, when she’s not visiting grand-kids or having fun with her husband, Tom.
